Her first day was September 1st.圕人堂周讯（总第70期 20150911）- 12 -Xi comes to us with 9 years of experience working with Chinese studiesresources, first as Interim Chinese Librarian at Perkins Library, DukeUniversity, and then as East Asian Studies and Web Development Librarianat Oberlin College Library. She holds a MLS from the University of NorthCarolina at Chapel Hill, a MA in Adult and Higher Education from theUniversity of South Dakota, and a BA in English from Nanjing Universityof Science and Technology. She has a strong background in research,instruction, and publication. Xi has taught specialized,curriculum-integrated classes and lower-division information literacyclasses, and she has provided both general and East Asian-specificreference and research services. She possesses relevant experience incollection development, working with approval plans, within largercollections consortia, and with overseas vendors.
